Description: 18th c Chinese Export Armorial Famille Rose Pair Of Plates, Qianlong, Circa 1760 Description This is a pair of marriage plates. Two doves are below a cornet that surmount two sets of initials which are held up by two putti with garland of flowers around them. Four floral sprays surround the central medallion and the spearhead border completes the design. Please note that I indicated a one and a two on the individual plates. Subsequent photos are of that particular plate. Size 9 inches in diameter Condition Excellent! Plate one has the hairline crack, which is physical from the bottom, but not on the interior Plate two has a chip with associated airline crack. No loss to the enamel and no other chipping on the rim of the plates.
