Description: For auction is a complete set of (16) original reconditioned 5232675 Pontiac Ram Air IV deep pocket lifters. They are correct for all 1969-70 GTO and Firebird Ram Air IV engines. The problems with aftermarket lifters is rampant right now so don't go cheap on them. These are far superior to the lifters the aftermarket suppliers list for RAIV engines. Aftermarket lifters to not have the deep pockets for the push rod or the correct internal valve. The incorrect lifters will totally change your valve train geometry. I put 2 pictures showing an incorrect lifter and the major differences. These lifters were not in an engine very long as you can still see the HL-64 ink stamp on some of them. These were sent to a very well known company in California and were resurfaced to create the original convex shape so that the lifter spins with camshaft rotation. Just like new or NOS. When I got them back I took them all apart then cleaned and lubricated all of them.
