It was issued in and is dated 1997. What would become Uzbekistan came under Russian domination during the time of the Czars. It became independent in 1991 after the breakup of the Soviet Union. This note is from the second issue of the new republic but the first issue from the "Central Bank". "Standard Catalog of World Paper Money" (Modern Issues 1961-) by Albert Pick. #80. Face: UW 8347839 • Dark blue, black, deep purple on green and multicolor underprint. Arms at center. Back: Mythological tiger. The Note: A veteran, it has seen some hands. Lightly soiled, it has no edge or body tears and no pinholes. As grading is subjective please see the pictures and judge for yourself. The note will be sent in a new currency holder.
