Description: Up for auction is a 2012 U.S. OPEN “PLAYERS ONLY” Presentation Box; this was a gift given to each of 151 players who qualified to play in the 2012 Open at the famed Olympic Club in San Francisco. A very few of these boxes were also given as gifts to a limited number of VIPs.The box measures 8.75” x 6.75” x 3.25”. The box is finished in a rich mahogany gloss and lined with a rich forest green felt material. The top of the box features a ceramic tile inlay with the Official Logo of the 2012 Championship as well as smaller replicas of previous U.S. Open’s played at The Olympic Club (1955, 1966,1987 &1998). Also featured in the design is the word “PLAYER”.This item is 100% authentic. This box does not include any golf balls, divot tools or anything else; just the box with the image of as described.
