This kit includes:§ RCM’s custom designed thumb (#1)§ A custom hydraulic cylinder made professionally in the USA (#1) § Hydraulic hoses made in USA (#2)§ Base plate cylinder mount, optional (#1)§ 90-degree hydraulic elbows, (#2)§ Nuts and bolts (#4)§ Hydraulic cylinder pins from C-1018 steel (#2)§ The main pin is 4140 heat treated, high strength steel (TGP), for attaching the thumb tines to the boom of your machine. This high strength pin will last; and decrease chances of: complications, breaks, wear and tear. (#1) USA Quality Runser Custom Machining Thumb:This thumb is composed of two ¾” thick AR400 steel tines. Our tines will hold up too many years of wear and tear. AR400 is a much stronger and harder steel than A36 steel. These thumbs are made to last. Many fabricators only use A36 Steel, which will wear down quickly. Our thumbs are specifically designed to fold up and out of the way when not in use. This thumb folds up to under 12”. This is less than even the factory designed models.RCM Hydraulic Cylinder:● 1 Year Warranty included● 130 degrees of rotational angle for maximum possible use● Custom designed and engineered in the USA ● Designed for maximum possible stroke. ● Cylinder Stroke distance for the Kubota hydraulic thumb kit cylinder is 19”. ● Thumb folds up out of the way when not in use ● Designed with a stronger internal rod to prevent bending ● This cylinder utilizes factory pin on mount locations. ● Made for 3500 psi, tested at 3000 psi.● Utilizes side ports allowing for the hoses to connect out of the wayGrease Fittings ● Grease fittings are provided at all pivoting locations. Fittings are protected from material collision that may occur during use. ● Due to increased chances of the main pin breaking, we DO NOT center drill the main pins for grease fittings.
