Description: I am closing my eBay store on September 28, 2019, so please find what you want now before it is too late. The Granddaddy of all rare and antique 1970 ORIGINAL DAVID WEISZ MGM AUCTION paper work showing an original Delivery Order Buyers Copy. This is the carbon copy given to the customer at the date of the auction as David Weisz Auctions/MGM kept the original for their records. The carbon copy writing details is almost entirely gone after 50 years but I have experience with working with colors, lights, darks and sharpness's in order to see more imaging. Infra red would work even better if you have that ability. However, I have been able to totally decipher all of the carbon writing after considerable work and time done on this page. My secret weapon however was having a wife with a great eyes and her using a magnifying glass with lights built into it. You can also verify these items in the silver MGM David Weisz Auction catalog of Miniatures, Weaponry, Vintage Cars catalog. This Delivery order gives the name of the buyer, his Buyer ID number, the number of the lots he purchased and a brief description of each item. This page is beyond impossible to buy as you cannot even find them anymore as they were discarded. The more famous and better known auction item tags themselves were mass produced but you cannot no longer find them and this M-G-M AUCTION DELEIVERY ORDER is 1,000 times more rare then those. Many lots that were sold in this famous auction were sold in large lots with only one tag for many pieces but many movie props were also sold that did not even have a tag as told by an eye witness in the signed letter seen in this sale, making any surviving tags even more rare. Most people who won lots tore off this tag and trashed it as soon as they got their item home as it was just wired onto the item and who in their right mind would even think that movie props would be collectible some day. Toys still in their original box's and props still with their original tags are impossible to find. The individual who wrote the letter was at the 1970 auction with their father. I have purchased lots of movie props and movie costumes from this son as well as buying lots of movie props and movie costumes from those who purchased from his father many years earlier. Although I was buying and collecting Hollywood Movie props and costumes in the early 1980's, the hobby as a whole did not take off in the States until the 1990's.
