Description: For sale are four-piece regular size place settings in the classic RAT TAIL / ENGLISH RAT TAIL pattern by Tiffany, introduced in 1958. The settings consist of an 8 1/2 inch place knife with a pistol handle and a French-style stainless steel blade, a 7 inch place fork with three 2 inch tines, a 6 3/4 inch salad fork with 4 tines and a 6 inch teaspoon. The flat pieces weigh about 140 grams. The settings have not been monogrammed. The pieces are marked [T&Co] with English sterling hallmarks and “ENGLAND”. The date letters vary between 1958 and 1973. Condition on the settings is fairly good. There are a few stubborn spots and wear from regular use. Some good place settings in a fine quality pattern.
