Description: This is the name plate from the main gate at the Versace Mansion (Casa Casuarina) on South Beach, Miami Beach, Florida. This name plate was on the main gate in 2001 when Peter Loftin purchased the mansion from Donatella Versace after Gianni was murdered on the front gate of this property. The plate was removed in 2010 when Barton G rented the property to open The Villa by Barton G. I worked for Peter Loftin. He asked me to place one of the plates in his warehouse and gave me the second one as additional payment for the work I did for him. This brass piece weighs 35 pounds and has the same artwork on both the front and back. It is 13" square and 1" thick. The Versace Mansion is one of the most photographed homes in the United States. This is a piece of history that can be owned by you. Please check all my other listings for great treasures, art and collectables. All proceeds will be used to cover the cost of food & housing for my little bunny and his bundad. Thank you!
