Description: Thanks for looking. I purchased this guitar used maybe 15 years ago. Since, I have had a new bone nut cut by a pro and the adjustable saddle replaced by a different pro - $300ish (back then…) together. Materials on these 70’s Alvarez were high quality (other than the plastic nut) - ply rosewood and spruce - both sides! Mahogany neck and fantastic binding, back inlay and rosette. Hard to tell from pics but bracing was well done. It has a few minor nicks - pics show most and there is a little finish ghosting on the A on headstock - otherwise super clean. Now 47 years old. It has been tuned in open D(ish) for years - classic MIJ rich tone. The saddle and bridge are full height. Comes with hard case in pics. Please ask questions, if any, before purchasing. No returns.
