Description: Vintage Nils Johan Sweden Silverplate Fruit Pattern Bowl. This is a wonderful Vintage Nils Johan Silverplate Bowl. This footed bowl features a repousse fruit pattern. Unfortunately, I’m unable to determine precisely which fruit is depicted in this pattern. Measuring appr 3 1/8” height to rim, 5 7/8” across at top rim, 3 3/8” across at base rim, this bowl is in very good condition. There are no dents or dings and only minor wear from age and handling with some minor surface wear in spots. There is some tarnish or wear to the inner bed of the bowl, likely a result of whatever the bowl was previously used for, which might be remedied with a proper treatment. There is some light surface scratching in spots, primarily to the underside of the base, all as can be seen in photos. There were some unavoidable light reflections which may appear as flaws in the photos, however, they are merely light reflections. Nils Johan mark is seen on the bottom. Overall, a really beautiful bowl that would look great in any setting and could serve any number of purposes.
