Description: Vintage Ralph Lauren Purple Label (RLPL) two-piece suit. Made in England by Chester Barrie, circa late 1990s. "Douglas" cut. Very fine 100% virgin wool. Dark brown / light brown nailhead pattern with brown rayon full lining. Single-breasted jacket with notch lapels, double side vents, 3-roll-2-button closure, four-button sleeves, roped shoulder, front darts, welted chest pocket, flapped waist pockets, and ticket pocket. Straight-leg, high-waisted trousers with cuffs, double forward pleats, side adjusters, zip fly with an extended hook-and-bar closure, two front on-seam pockets, two back buttoned pockets, and suspender/braces buttons. There are some relatively inconspicuous small holes where it appears the trousers were once previously hemmed. There are also some loose threads on the interior lining on one shoulder.
